API Key

An API key is a simple encrypted string that identifies an application without any principal. They are helpful while accessing public data anonymously, and are used to associate API requests with your account for quota and billing.

  • API keys created in the Production Client Console are to be used with the production server and production URL.
  • API keys created in the Development Client Console are to be used with the development server and development URL.
