Interplai is a SaaS solution (software-as-a-service) that optimizes routes for delivery vehicle fleets. Interplai API is a web service that uses HTTP requests to return JSON-formatted vehicle routing information. With the use of Interplai API services, the best routes can be generated by uploading customized routing needs. We have designed and implemented online AI-powered algorithms that solve on-demand and crowdsourced delivery problems. This simple approach allows us to handle dynamic routing trips and adjust the distribution plan in real-time.

AI models are used by the API web service to improve performance in finding the most optimal routes and vehicle assignments. In fact, new AI models can be created by users and then integrated into the optimization process. A dataset can be uploaded to the API, which will then be used to train an AI model.

Solutions can be automatically posted back via a webhook or retrieved using a query. With online optimization, optimization solutions will be continually re-optimized until accepted. Using updates provided to the servers, such as changes in the available vehicles, new and better solutions are produced through the re-optimizations. Additionally, Interplai offers the flexibility to accept portions of a route, called segments.
