User Roles

Client Console offers a user role hierarchy that you can choose to determine the level of access each user has. Roles within the hierarchy affect access to key components, such as records and reports.

User Roles

Owner

Each Interplai account has only one user in the role of Owner. The owner is set to the email account used to set up the account and has access to everything inside the Client Console.

Admin

The role serves as a secondary contact for teams and has many of the same responsibilities as the role of the Owner. Each client must have at least one Admin and can have more. The admin can invite users, moderate API credentials, and view and manage notifications. Also manage documents, policies, and other information associated with the API. The admin can also view performance and usage data for the entire API and can invite others to be Admins for the same API.

Developer

The role has access only to the required project details for development. A developer can manage API credentials and other settings. The developer can manage the API but does not see billing details or payment settings.

Finance

The user with this role is given access to all finance functionality and can manage all finance processes, such as billing, and payment settings. The finance user can see the invoices, enable automatic invoice emails, modify company details like name and addresses, and can view the documentation available below support.

Viewer

The user with this role is given access to all the sections of the Client Console except billing. Viewers can view items that are shared with them. This user role is ideal for the members of an organization who need to view the activities of the Client Console in a secure environment. The user role is restricted only to view, but not edit or delete.

Driver

Only for use in the Interplai mobile app. Drivers need to be created before Interplai can consider the driver for use with the mobile app.
